Conclusion
In the EDAE 6353: Evaluation and Assessment in Adult Education, I traveled throughout this course to see all aspects of evaluation in education. I read remarkable articles and research papers and discussed them with peers and professionals from different angles.
Prior to this research, as a facilitator, I focused on the assessments of students, and in this course, my knowledge and ideas improved what an approved evaluation looks like. It also deliberated my knowledge in assessing institutions and programs, priorities and elements of successful investigations, and the different approaches, rules, and instruments to organize an approved evaluation by practitioners. Paying attention to details in the educational purposes, being inclined of harmful behavior, preserving moral values, and cultural diversity to provide a comprehensive investigation results and explore that education is an effective instrument for changing the mind and behaviors of the students.
The recognized differences between the level of schools in higher education are to consider the students' age, background and experiences, education and society systems they grew up in, and the type of curriculum, in addition to instructors' behavior in transferring knowledge to the students, all-important in evaluations. Knowledge about summative and formative learning assessments would be an impressive part of learning trends. Understanding these methods accompanied by rubrics and constructional feedback would be phenomenal in encouraging students to learn. All the learned information allowed me to see educational evaluation in an organization is broader than just academic appraisals. This subject alleviates my actions as a contributor to the systems, collaborator with team members, and facilitator in higher education.
